Train under world-class instructors in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and defensive tactics. Build skills in control, safety, and effectiveness that prepare you for real-world encounters.
10 AM - 11:30 AM | Living with Resilience
Living with Resilience is a practical and faith-grounded conversation about how to remain steady under pressure. In a world that constantly pulls at our peace and tests our strength, resilience isn’t about pretending things aren’t hard — it’s about being rooted deeply enough that we don’t break when they are. This talk will explore how faith, discipline, and identity shape men and women who can endure challenges, lead well in difficult seasons, and stay grounded when life feels uncertain. Join us for a lunch conversation focused on building strength that lasts — not just in moments of crisis, but in everyday life.
1:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Firearms & Closing Dinner
Spend the afternoon on the range with professional instruction from law enforcement trainers. Build real-world pistol skills safely and effectively—no experience required. The day concludes over dinner and a closing session, bringing together deeper teaching and a challenge to carry what you’ve learned into your home, church, and community.

Instructors

Ben Sharp
15+ years in law enforcement, FBI-certified firearms instructor, Gracie Survival Tactics instructor, 10 years SWAT experience, wrestling background and current BJJ brown belt. Ben brings a lifetime of combatives and tactical expertise.

Eric McMahon
Former MMA fighter, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and UFC referee. Owner of a successful fitness/self-defense facility, Eric combines martial arts mastery with a heart for family and faith.

JABO
Jabo began his Law Enforcement career in 1997 with a large agency in one of the nation's most violent criminal areas. In 2002, he was selected for his agency's full-time Tactical Unit (S.W.A.T.). He served there for 17 years in various functions, gaining experience as an instructor, K9 handler, sniper, and eventually, as the team's assistant commander. In 2019, he was transferred to the Narcotics Division, where he led several Special Investigative Units. He also served as a Bomb Technician for 13 years, earning several specialty designations in that field, including the successful completion of the Tactical Bomb Technician program. His last duty assignment was as the Assistant Range Commander of the Firearms Training Unit. He retired on December 1, 2022, after over 25 years of service. He is a nationally sought-after instructor, a product design and outside sales development account manager for Rapid Assault Tools, and the Director of Training for the Guild Solutions Group.

Noel Fenderson
Noel Fenderson is a husband, father of four, entrepreneur, police officer, SWAT team member, and follower of Jesus. With a heart for faith, family, and freedom, Noel lives his life at the intersection of strength and service—training to protect, but always leading with love.
He’s the owner of Dangerous But Good, a movement that equips men to develop dangerous skills and grow good spirits.

Brandon OWENS
Owens began his Law Enforcement career in 2017, and joined the department’s SWAT Team in 2019. Owens is a FBI certified firearms instructor, Close Quarters Battle (CQB) Instructor, SWAT sniper, pistol red dot instructor, and a leader amongst his team. Owens also serves on his department’s crime suppression unit which involves vehicle containments, surveillance, and warrant execution.

Davis Herndon
Since 2007, Davis has built a distinguished career in law enforcement characterized by exceptional bravery and a rapid trajectory into high-level leadership. His professional impact was immediate, earning him both the Medal of Valor and the Knights of Columbus Officer of the Year award within his first year of service. Over the following 16 years, he became a cornerstone of his department’s tactical operations, progressing from a frontline "team guy" to Team Leader and ultimately serving as the Tactical Commander. Beyond his command experience, Davis led a Special Enforcement Team focused on criminal apprehension and violent crime investigation, grounding his leadership in high-stakes field experience. His extensive technical expertise is supported by elite certifications, including FBI Firearms Instructor, Force Science Institute training, and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, making him versatile in both tactical survival and off-duty response strategies.
